VISION AND GOALS OF SL*EARN!

SL*EARN links local schools, institutes ,universities, educators, students to global projects. Revolutionizing the monotonous education to a exciting  curriculum with enabling students to enhance their skills and to make a difference in the world as well.

The SL*EARN membership is free and anyone can apply using the online form for the membership.

We provide full online support, guidelines to initiate new local projects , sample lesson plans and project booklets to all participating schools with training sessions and workshops.

SL*EARN also gives local teachers and students an opportunity to experience and implement new learning methods through collaborative projects ,both local and global.

AIMS.

· To develop friendly environment among youth of all cultures based on respect for the principle of equal rights.·

To encourage youth from all countries to learn and work co-operatively and collaboratively in International projects and to guide youth to take active part in resolving global problems and to provide a platform for global discussions. ·

 To promote and encourage youth in respecting humanity and for fundamental human rights for all without distinction as to race, gender, language, culture, or religion.·

To link telecommunications technology, teaching methods and other resources with youth organizations, schools/institutes, or individuals sharing the similar vision as I*EARN.· Establishing local I*EARN centers and circles and to guide them with training and support programs·

To work with similar organizations, institutes, NGO's, government structures to establish a global network of concerned organizations, supporting online educational projects for teachers and students in Sri Lanka.
